Paddington and Abigail need our help! 🐾💛 Almost at the same time, one of our biggest and one of our smallest, these two beloved Moose Lodge seniors began losing mobility in their hind legs, making it harder for them to stand and move around safely without Debbie or Dave to assist them, but with 18 dogs at the Lodge, this is as anyone can imagine quite challenge, and that is why we need your help. Our goal is to get them each a properly sized rear-leg support brace. We want to get them this support now, while they're still getting up and moving, so they can continue using their legs and maintain as much mobility and independence as possible. Both dogs have already been seen by the vet, and their care already includes medications and supplements such as probiotics, but this is not enough. We need help affording their braces, and this is only the beginning.

As Paddington and Abigail make this transition, their care means continued veterinary visits, medications, supplements, bloodwork and diagnostic testing, X-rays when needed, mobility equipment, follow-up care, and adjustments as their bodies and needs change. Paddington also has a cough we're monitoring, while Abigail has an existing heart murmur. We want to be able to respond as their needs change without having to wait because the funds aren't there.
