Who We Are
Our mission is to offer a loving home, our home, to senior dogs and other senior pets in need of rehoming through no fault of their own. In our pet-friendly home, they receive quality care, first-rate medical attention, and bundles of love.
To do this, we:
1. Maintain a welcoming sanctuary in the security of our own home, with a large fenced yard for exercise and play.
2. We work with local shelters to rehome or find foster homes for canine and feline seniors. We will pay extra attention to those with medical needs.
3. We will work to educate the general public on the value of senior pets, the joy they can bring to the lives of humans, and that are not to be thrown away or abandoned. There is always a way to take care of them.
We are committed to giving our animals the serenity they deserve in their final years, without judgment as to why they came to us.
It is our plan that Moose Lodge remains a sanctuary in perpetuity.

Finding A FOrever home
for mama cass

Mama is not a senior, she’s five and was sent to us because she has a grey muzzle and it was assumed, by the rescue, that she was a senior. We love her dearly and have housed her, but she really needs her own home. She is young and has too much energy for our fragile seniors. It’s too bad. We would keep her otherwise.
